No mids ! The 515E was built for vented box enclosures.. Not so good in large horn enclosures 210-211. Ok for the A5-A7...

when I had my 515e's in the a-5's they would drive me off the couch from the bass..they hit hard, and fast

All 515's frequency response are rated at 20-1000 Hz and most of them are crossed way below that..
The 416-8B is rated at 30-1600 Hz,the 416A is 20-1600 Hz.So how do you feel that the 515's are more extended than the 416 ? Just curios GM..
I personally prefer the 416 over the 515.Specifically the 416-8B..Your the opposite..
